Word Family Activities - Word Family Magic!
Okay, it's not really magic, but I know your students will think these are pretty awesome!
Word Sliders!
Simply cut a couple slits in your paper plates - can be dinner size or dessert size. I just cut a strip of construction paper approximately 12 inches long and 1-1/2 wide. If you are using this for a larger group or repetitive center work, you may want to use cardstock or laminate your strip. Let students decorate the plates! I love to have students original artwork everywhere. It does NOT have to be perfect or all the same. (You may have the avoid the center section for easier reading.)
