A Round Tuit 280

Hello! and welcome to a very exciting week for me!
First of all, I'm pleased to announce the launch today of
my second E-book.

Teach your kids to sew with a pair of jeans

Buy Now
I've been working on this for some months now. My girls helped me as my pattern testers and I'm super pleased with the resulting book.
It's designed for kids aged about 10+, although some younger ones may be able to use it too with help.
The idea is that all the items in the book can be made using an old pair of jeans - something I'm sure most of us have at home. Encouraging upcycling and the philosophy of 'Use What You've Got', while teaching useful and practical skills.

The other thing that is happening this week, is the school carnival has finally arrived! This Saturday I'll be setting up my upcycled clothes stall full of all the things I've been spending this year creating. Here are a few of the things I've made.

All this week I'll be creating teaser sock monkeys, pencil cases and other upcycled delights to display at the school and will share on my blog to hopefully create some excitement and anticipation for Saturday! So do come back each day to see more.

But for now - it's time to see what you've all been up to this week. Let's get this party started!

------------------------------

Welcome to this week's linky party. A place where you can link up your posts and creations, and be inspired by others.

Tuits are very hard to come by, especially the round ones. For years people have been saying, "I'll do it as soon as I get a round tuit". Well now you can have one of your very own, and all those jobs that have needed doing will finally get done!

Here's my favourites from last week's party:

First of all, some cute little Crochet Pears from Happy in Red.

Next, I love this idea for a
Glamorous Witch Hat from The Scrappe Shoppe.

Finally, just had to share this one - DIY Candy Bar Halloween Costumes from Oh My! Creative!

For those featured, feel free to grab a 'featured on' button here.
